Marco Saldana Has No Regrets In Taking Zoe’s Last Name

Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana’s husband Marco Saldana, formerly Marco Perego, says he has no regrets in taking his wife’s last name.

The 36-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star told InStyle magazine that she “tried to talk him out of it” by employing her own line of reasoning which entailed the conveyance of his imminent emasculation at the hands of his community of artists and Latin men, but alas, he stated that he simply does not care.

I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.’ But Marco looks up at me and says [she puts on his Italian accent], ‘Ah, Zoë, I don’t give a sheet’

Zoe insinuated that she, up until she met her husband, was uncomfortable around lovers, but comfortable with “men as long as they were friends.” These days, she’s finally met her intended mate, or so she believes, as she told InStyle that finally feels comfortable with her lover.

Since I’ve been with Marco, I’ve been lowering my guard (…) Finally, when we had our boys, I looked at my husband and I realized: I was meant for you, and you were meant for me. I’ve always felt comfortable around men as long as they were friends. Now I finally feel comfortable with my lover. I don’t want to be separate. I want my church. I want to live inside the religion of our own little family.

In other celebrity gossip here at Immortal News, Duck Dynasty star Jeb Robertson was molested, or so he recently claimed in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight.

What do you think of Zoe Saldana’s husband taking her last name upon marriage?
