Whitney Houston’s Daughter Hospitalized, Found Unresponsive In Bathtub

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Saturday morning and rushed to the hospital.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, was found unresponsive by her husband and a friend at her home in Roswell, Georgia. The pair called 911 and performed CPR while awaiting paramedics. A police officer then took over and Brown was transported to North Fulton Hospital, according to The New York Times.

The cause of Brown’s unresponsiveness is still unknown, although police consider it a medical incident. Investigators said there was nothing that indicated drugs or alcohol were involved.

Brown has reportedly been placed in a medically induced coma, according to Reuters.

Poor thing. Almost three years to the day her mom passed and the same thing almost happened to her.

The incident is eerily similar to Whitney Houston’s death in 2012. The Grammy Award-winning singer was found submerged in a bathtub in a hotel on February 11, 2012. Her turbulent marriage with Mr. Brown was depicted in Lifetime’s “Whitney,” which aired recently.

An autopsy found that Whitney Houston drowned in 12 inches of “extremely hot water.” Her death was ruled an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors, according to CNN. Brown is her only child.

Brown was born during Houston’s marriage to singer Bobby Brown, which ended in divorce in 2007. She became a public figure during the reality show “Being Bobby Brown,” when she made many appearances alongside her parents. In 2009, she performed with her mother when the two sang “My Love Is Your Love” on ABC’s “Good Morning America.
