The rapper known as YG was shot three times in the hip outside a Los Angeles, California recording studio on Friday.
While police did not confirm the identity of the victim, Sgt. Ernie Fischer of the Los Angeles Police Department indicated that police responded to a report regarding someone who had been shot in an alleyway outside an address in Studio City at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Friday and that when they arrived, they discovered blood and shell casing, but on apparent victim.
Later, the authorities received a call from a local hospital regarding the arrival of a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to LAPD Officer Jack Richter. TMZ was told that when the cops went to interview YG, he was “very uncooperative.”
While he was shot, his manager has since indicated that he’s doing “doing fine” and his injuries are not “nothing life-threatening,” KTLA 5 reported.

California business records indicate that the Studio City address at which the shooting took place is home to a recording studio by the name of “Poolside Entertainment” — which according to neighbors, YG has been seen on the property of.
The property reportedly consists of live-work lofts.
According to Richter, no one had been taken into custody as a result of the shooting.

In other news, outlaw country music singer Randy Howard was recently shot to death in a shootout with a seasoned bounty hunter. The bounty hunter, a former police officer, was attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a DUI charge when Howard allegedly opened fire.
