With Dick Costolo have stepped down from the position of CEO at the social media giant Twitter, Snoop Dogg is “ready to lead” the company — or so he claims in a series of tweets from his confirmed Twitter account.

Costolo stepped down on Thursday and while Snoop Dogg’s bid for the position sounds interesting, to say the least, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey is stepping in to take his place.
While Snoop’s ambitions may seem high, he has managed to amass a considerable following across social media, is hugely influential and according to a report on NBC News, he even has a business plan:
First order of Business! Get that Moolah! #SnoopforCEO @twitter

Not only that, Snoop, as Wired recognized in a report, is no stranger to investing in tech and he’s managed to retain both popularity as well as relevance in the constantly fluctuating media and entertainment scene.
MTV.com’s Adam Fleischer writes that the company is definitely “on board with the #SnoopforCEO movement.”
And it’s definitely got us on board with the #SnoopforCEO movement.
Even the CEO of cloud-storage provider Box, Aaron Levie, is backing the entertainer and entrepreneur’s candidacy, as he wrote on Twitter that Snoop should at least “be chair of the audit committee.”
At a minimum Snoop should be chair of the audit committee. https://t.co/BbXOG5Aawh

Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, is an American recording artist, actor, entrepreneur and many other things. The 6′ 4″ tall rapper is a California native, having originated from Long Beach, California.
In other news, the 43-year-old Mr. Broadus recently sued Pabst Blue Ribbon over a Colt 45 endorsement deal.
What do you think, is Snoop Dogg qualified to run the multi-billion dollar social media giant that is Twitter?
