The hip-hop artist known as Kanye West, the man behind The College Dropout, is producing a video game based on the recent single he produced with Paul McCartney, “Only One.”
In an interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, he revealed in a discussion laced with references to his Adidas fashion line and wife Kim Kardashian that he intends on producing a video game inspired by the single. A single which, according to a Cinema Blend report, he doesn’t remember writing, as he believes that he was channeling his late mother, Dr. Donda West, during the writing process.

Quoting his wife Kim who tweeted about the process through which the song was written, “Kanye feels like his mom sang thru him to our daughter.”
People always ask me what my favorite Kanye song is and it's Only One. Kanye feels like his mom sang thru him to our daughter.

As far as what the new Kanye video game entails, only a vague description was offered by the artist who said that the game pertained to his mother and that players would have to “bring her to the highest gate of heaven by holding her to the light.”
The idea is that it’s my mother going through the gates of heaven, and you’ve got to bring her to the highest gate of heaven by holding her to the light.
Mr. West isn’t the only hip-hop artist with a foray into video games, as rapper 50 Cent put out a PSP title called 50 Cent: Bulletproof and an array of artists including LL Cool J, Queen Latifah and others put out a game called Rap Jam: Volume One back in 1995.
