George Zimmerman At It Again: Called A Psychopath

George Zimmerman is at it again! This time, according to a report by The New York Daily News on Jan. 12, he was arrested for allegedly throwing a wine bottle at a woman. Apparently, this woman, who has asked the police not to name her, called the police after she attempted to break the relationship off with Zimmerman and he allegedly threw a wine bottle at her. According to the report, the couple had a fight over a painting of Zimmerman’s. She then told police that Zimmerman is a ‘psychopath’ and she regrets ever dating him in the first place. According to the unnamed woman who is now his ex-girlfriend, he also threw her phone on the ground and broke it.

It took the Florida police 90 minutes to get in contact with Zimmerman after banging on his door and calling his cell phone repeatedly. Zimmerman finally agreed to speak with the police on the condition that his lawyer could listen in on the conversation. When he was questioned, he informed the police that the woman was the one who threw the wine bottle at him and that her cell phone was already broken a year before when she broke it herself. The police did not believe a word of what he was telling them so they took him into custody and booked him into the jail on Friday on the charge of aggravated assault with a weapon. When Zimmerman appeared in court Saturday morning, he seemed scruffy looking. The judge released him on a $5,000 bail.

According to The Daily Beast, this is not the first time Zimmerman has had a run in with the law. Not only is he the man who shot Trayvon Martin and was acquitted because the judge found that he did so in self-defense, but he was also pulled over twice for speeding after the 2013 shooting of the young man. Not only this but he was also arrested and charged with pointing a gun at his girlfriend at the time although the charges were dropped afterwards. This past September, Zimmerman was involved in a road rage incident but the other man involved decided not to press charges against him.

What do you think about this? Do you think this will finally be the last time we see Zimmerman in the news getting into trouble again or do you think he will keep acting the way he does and keep getting into trouble with the police?
