Bill Cosby is now being sued for defamation by Tamara Green. Tamara Green has been accusing Mr. Cosby since 2005 saying he drugged and sexually assaulted her many years ago. However, now she is filing a new lawsuit, according to a report by the New York Daily News on Dec. 10, against Bill Cosby for calling her a liar and ruining her good name and reputation.
Tamara Green is a retired lawyer who says the public shaming on her part didn’t start until 2005 when she came forward accusing Mr. Cosby of being drugged and groped back in the 1970’s. Although the statute of limitations has run out for the sexual assault, she is able to file this new lawsuit for defaming her good name and reputation.
As a matter of fact, Green stated:
I want the truth of this matter to be finally established forevermore. I want the truth to be known. I want justice for myself and for my sisters in arms. I want it put to a jury. I want there to be a verdict. I want it to be ended finally. All of this time there’s always been a slight doubt in everyone’s mind as to the veracity of any of the allegations…because he’s a rich and powerful and famous man.
Bill Cosby has now been accused of sexual assault by more than two dozen different women, according to a report by USA Today, in the last few weeks but has not been criminally charged as of yet.
