Kaley Cuoco, the actress who plays, ‘Penny’ on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ got her star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame finally. According to a report posted Oct. 29 by the Harrogate Advertiser, she has been crying since she was notified of the star in her name. She cried when she got the phone call, on the drive to Hollywood Blvd, and even while she unveiled her star on it. Kaley’s star is number 2,532 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Mrs. Cuoco-Sweeting got her start as an actress when she played on ‘8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter’ along with co-star John Ritter. She then went onto play in ‘Charmed’ as a new witch and finally, proudly plays the neighbor of a bunch of geeks on ‘The Big Bang Theory.’
According to a report by E! Online, this is what she had to say about receiving the star,
I didn’t write a speech, because I thought I would just speak from my heart and I already started crying in the car on the way over here, so I got that out of the way. I still think they are going to call and say this was a mistake.
Kaley’s husband, Ryan Sweeting, and fellow ‘Big Bang’ co-stars were by her side as she accepted the star and unveiled it. She thanked her husband and co-stars and even thanked her dear friend, John Ritter, who passed away in 2003. He was her co-star on ‘8 Simple Rules’ playing her father on the show.
