The H-E-B supermarket chain based out of San Antonio, Texas has issued a voluntary recall of its Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle Ice Cream in light of the possibility that it has been contaminated with pieces of wood, the company announced in a press release on Thursday.
In its press release announcing the voluntary recall, the company noted that the recall comes as a result of “an abundance of caution” – not out of necessity.
In the abundance of caution, H-E-B is issuing a voluntary recall for H-E-B Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle Ice Cream due to the possible presence of wood pieces in the product.
Unlike the Blue Bell ice cream recall that claimed numerous lives while leaving others hospitalized, there have been no reports of any illnesses stemming from consumption of the recently recalled product, according to the company.
Customers who have purchased the products listed below can return them to H-E-B for a full refund.
