Celebrity Friends Defend Renee Zellweger

The whole world went crazy yesterday when it was reported that Renee Zellweger might have had plastic surgery. Everyone was talking about her new look, according to a report posted by E! Online on Oct. 22. However, many of her celeb friends have been defending her on social media all day today.

Not only did her star friends defend her on Twitter but Renee, herself spoke out about what people are saying about her new look. As a matter of fact, she told People,

I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows. It seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn’t exist won’t get off my porch until I answer that door.

As well as Renee speaking out about her new look and her friends defending her on social media, Kathy Lee Gifford defended her on television today saying,

Let her be and don’t be so mean spirited about her choices. I think she looks beautiful.

Co-host of The View, Nicole Wallace also had something to say about Renee’s new look and what people were saying about it. She stated on The View today,

I think the reality is that there is an unending pressure on women to look forever young.

There was a lot of buzz from her celebrity friends on Twitter. Here is what some of them said about Ms. Zellweger today:

Zachary Quinto tweeted,
