On Monday, the controversial Westboro Baptist Church plans to visit the home of Kim Davis to picket the Kentucky clerk in protest of what they claim to be “adultery” and “proud, self-righteous” hypocrisy.
A portion of the press release reported by Fox 2 stated that the “man that Kim Davis is living with, and calling her husband, IS NOT!”
Perhaps the strange part to readers is the fact that both the church as well as Davis stand in opposition to gay marriage.
Davis was previously arrested and jailed for a total of six days after she refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex and straight couples alike.
That man that Kim Davis is living with, and calling her husband, IS NOT! Her husband is Dwain Wallace, who she married when she was 18-tears-old. It does not matter how many years you pile on! It was adultery at the beginning, adultery in the middle and it is indeed adultery today!
The church’s statement, which they tweeted on Friday, asserts that by divorcing her first husband, who she married when she was just 18-years-old, and remarrying, she has committed the act of adultery — an act apparently on par with homosexuality in the eyes of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Lord willing, we will visit Kim Davis on Monday with some friendly, Christianly advice/wisdom: pic.twitter.com/iwLkypfhft

Steve Drain, a member of the Westboro Baptist Church, told Gawker‘s J.P. Harrell in conversation over the telephone that the protest of Davis is more about the “rampant hypocrisy of lukewarm Christianity” than her refusal to sign marry same-sex couples in her county.
What do you think of the WBC’s decision to protest Davis over their allegations of adultery and hypocrisy?
