Swimsuit supermodel for Sports Illustrated Chrissy Teigen took a playful stab at reporting the local weather in Houston, Texas last Thursday. As her Instagram video shows, she’s better off looking cute in her orange two-piece outfit without the added burden of positioning herself next to the proper day of the week and its respective temperature.
Teigen fumbled through her script right from the start, saying, “Ok let’s start off on – what’s the first day of the week? Ugh, what day’s today? Today’s Thursday. 100 degrees today?!” She expressed utter shock about the temperature clocking triple digits, even though Houston reaches such temperatures frequently. She shifted her body back and forth as if to be lost in a drunken stupor.

“Maybe we should leave the weather reporting to Al Roker,” suggested E! News. Although Teigen was admittedly unsuccessful in her attempts to provide the people of Houston with an adequate local weather report, the staff and anchors at ABC 13 Houston treated her in a lighthearted manner, which may have contributed to her ability to laugh at herself when she noted on her own Instagram account that weather reporting is a job that she’s simply not cut out to do. She emphatically posted, “#ABC13 #Houston thanks for having me!”
The beautiful wife to John Legend says that she is not rushing to procreate. “I’m waiting for things to slow down, but things don’t seem to be slowing down, ever,” she said, according to People. “People will know as soon as I’m pregnant because I’ll stop drinking.”
While Teigen may not be reporting the weather again any time soon, she is nevertheless engaged in efforts outside of her modeling career, including the development of her first cookbook. The social media uproar caused by her accidental weather-reporting spill comes shortly after she humorously shocked her social media followers by balancing a plate of chicken wings on her backside.
