ZenHub Enterprise Launches Direct Integration With GitHub

ZenHub Enterprise

ZenHub, the leading IT management platform, has announced the global launch of ZenHub Enterprise, the first project management tool integrated directly with GitHub Enterprise. The announcement also featured the first Enterprise customers to use the tool: Imgur, Ikyu.com, and ICON Health & Fitness.

ZenHub, which helps teams manage GitHub projects with drag-and-drop task boards, was previously only available with regular GitHub accounts. Beginning now, GitHub enterprises will also be able to use the service, Tech Crunch reported.

ZenHub Enterprise is designed to make it easier to team members to manage, view, and prioritize aspects of a project with task boards, burndown charts, velocity tracking, and native type-independent file upload.

One of the early adopters of ZenHub is Imgur, the photo-sharing community that gets more than 60 billion image views every month. Imgur Director of Engineering Brian Kassouf said they adopted the technology to encourage collaboration, adding that the tool helps them “meet the needs of Imgur’s massive growth.”

Chase Brammer, Head of iFit Product Development at ICON Health & Fitness, said the service improves output. He was quoted by ZenHub as saying that the service helps preserve the company’s “competitive edge.”

ZenHub Enterprise increased productivity, preserving our competitive edge as an industry leader.

ZenHub Enterprise is different than other project management tools like Trello in that its integration with GitHub allows users to bypass using several applications for greater convenience. ZenHub Enterprise claims it saves 1.5 hours per user every day, or 40 full workdays every year.

GitHub and “Git” software in general has seen rapid adoption. GitHub is not alone with other similar services on the market like waffle.io, which also works with GitHub Enterprise. ZenHub stands out for its direct integration with GitHub Enterprise, which means developers can avoid switching back and forth between various applications.
