Rita Ora is not jealous of her pal, Taylor Swift’s, relationship with her ex, Calvin Harrris.
Ora opened up about her relationship with Swift in an interview with E! Online where she stated she and Swift don’t have any “Bad Blood” between them. Ora said:
I am a girl’s girl. I’m not going to have that first instinct of jealousy vibe.
The 24-year-old singer also reiterated that she had a lot of respect for Swift and that she was a huge fan of her work. Ora said that she thinks Swift is “one of the most incredible songwriters of our generation.”
I think she’s one of the most incredible songwriters of our generation. I’m not even just saying it. I absolutely adore her music and love what she stands for.
The “How We Do” singer and Harris dated for one year before breaking up June last year. The two had hooked up while working on Ora’s sophomore album. According to Ora, the relationship was not meant to be. Ora told E! Online:
It was a period of my life that I will value forever. But some things are just not meant to be. I don’t want to make this just about him. Musically, it was an amazing experiment and let’s just leave it at that.
Harris and Ora had a really nasty break up where Harrris reportedly refused to allow Ora to use any of the songs the two had worked on for her sophomore album, leaving Ora to start from scratch, the Daily Mail reported.
Harris and Swift have been getting along quite well on their part. The two spent July 4 together at Swift’s annual star studded Independence Day party.
Swift later posted a picture on her Instagram of Harris carrying her on his back with the caption:
