Court Orders Kylie Jenner’s Boyfriend Tyga to Settle Unpaid Rent

Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga has until Monday, by court order, to settle the back rent on his previous home in California.

According to TMZ, Tyga owes a former landlord a whooping $124000 in rent arrears and interest. The amount was traced back to a Calabasas, California home Tyga rented before. The owner, however, has agreed to settle for $80,000, which is the exact amount of the arrears without interest.

The court gave the 25-year-old rapper until Monday to pay off the amount or else he will be liable to pay the whole figure.

This is not the first time the landlord has sought legal enforcement of his owed rent from Tyga. Previously, a court had ordered the rapper to pay $90,000 in arrears but the rapper absconded. Interest on the amount has been accruing ever since.

The “Rack City” rapper has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Recently, a model who had sued the rapper together with his record label for sexual assault, is also seeking legal enforcement of $25,000 owed to her from the rapper.

The amount is the balance from an earlier settlement with Tyga worth $50,000 for agreeing to drop the sexual assault charges.

Tyga was also just recently involved in a club brawl in Switzerland last weekend. The rapper, accompanied by Kylie Jenner, was scheduled to perform at club Evogue in Geneva, Switzerland, for an hour but showed up late and only performed for 10 minutes, sparking a feud with the club owner.

Tyga turned to Twitter to complain about the occurrence. He tweeted:

My Switzerland fans know whenever I show up I perform. I appreciate everybody that came out yesterday. Sum Club owners just think they own u just Kuz they pay u to come to they lil club for a hr … I ain’t nobody slave. (…) Every since I came in the game in 2008 people tried to tarnish my brand.mislead who I am. I just wanna make music and be creative and be a dope ass n****. Can’t nothing stop what’s planned. They can hate me but God gon show me love forever (sic).
