Jill And Derick Duggar Dillard Leaving For Overseas Charity Work, Requesting Donations

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard are leaving America and according to the “19 Kids and Counting” stars, they’re leaving America to serve in humanitarian roles overseas a bid to help those less fortunate.

The Duggars will be leaving the United States for charity work just months after struggling to welcome a new baby. The two announced they would be leaving through their family blog. In their statement, the two announced that they had received divine inspiration to go ahead with their charity plans.

God has put a desire in our hearts to serve Him internationally for longer than the typical short-term mission trip, but we didn’t know yet how God would fulfill that desire in us.”

Earlier this year God brought about an opportunity much earlier than either of us was expecting. Several months ago a new opportunity arose for us to serve God on the mission field.”

After much prayer and seeking Godly counsel, we realized that taking this opportunity and moving overseas in order to serve is the best option for our family.

The Dillards did not reveal where they would be going to, however, they did request donations from well wishers to assist in their charity work.

If you feel led to support our mission effort we would be so thankful to have you as a partner. You can give here on our website. Your prayers and your support mean so much to both of us as we begin this great new chapter in life!

Just last month, Derick quit his job at Walmart, sparking rumors that the two would either be releasing a Jill and Derick Dillard spinoff or maintaining a low profile following the arrest of Josh, Jill’s brother, on allegations of child molestation. However, it appears the real reason he left his stable job has to do with the pairs plans to engage in charitable work overseas.
